Wild Things is a group for children to choose their own learning journey. Facilitators are on hand to provide support and opportunities and to work with the group to shape the way sessions run.
- Decisions about how sessions run and any developments will be made by the group using consent based decision making.
- We expect there will be one or two activities offered each week. young people will be able to request or offer an activity or skill share.
- We will strive towards being fully inclusive, for some young people this will mean an adult staying with them in the forest to support them, please feel free to get in touch to discuss your child’s needs before coming along. We ask that an adult stay with under 8’s.
We Recommend
- Water proof clothing and wellies all year round to keep the bugs and dirt out!
- For those who like to get really messy, a change of clothes for the way home might be needed!
- Not having the right gear should never be a barrier to coming along, so please let us know if you want to borrow some spares.
- Please bring a packed lunch and a drink, its thirsty work in the woods!
